Emily Rogers

Emily Rogers is an MFA Candidate in Film and Graduate Fellow at Syracuse University. Her short film “DOG” had its international premiere at the Love & Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona in the fall of 2025, where it was nominated for Best LGBTQ Film. She is formerly based in Brooklyn, NY where she spent four years working on PBS’s independent documentary series, POV and America ReFramed. Rogers is an alumnus of Oberlin College, where she graduated with a BA in Studio Arts and Creative Writing in 2018.
